We use this form when somebody mentions something that has come up before and is known to both parties and you want to give your opinion or decision on the subject: (Husband) my boss reminded me that I still have two weeks of vacation coming – I think he wants me to take them before the year ends so that I won’t have four weeks accumulated next year. (Wife) i’ve been thinking, maybe we should just bite the bullet and go see your mother. It may be your last chance to spend time with her before the baby comes. [this indicates that the subject of a vacation has come up before and the wife has given it some thought]
