The following simple mundane story unfolded before mobile phones were invented.
So this one time, 6-year-old Vova went sledding/sledging/sleighing. After an hour or so he figured he had to go number two. He went back¿ home, but he found out his father left and, on top of that, Vova left/forgot¿ his key at home. So he had to run to the nearest telephone booth in order to call his mother and ask her to come from work as soon as possible before it was too late. Sadly, the boy was too small/short? to reach the receiver, so he had to climb the walls of the booths with one leg on the left wall and the other on the opposite wall. This way he managed to call his mother's workplace and they told him his mother had already left. No one knows what was going to happen if not for one of their neighbors who was walking past the booth right at the time. The man talked to the boy and took him to his place to fix his problem.

All's well that ends well.)))
