You’re welcome. Does this express difficulty with the routine or getting out of it by doing something different?
Yeah, he’s saying something completely different. Tatiana, perhaps if you put this in a snippet.
- Ever since I got out of the army, I've gotten completely out of my routine - nights out partying, meeting up with friends, chicks...
- And I'm staying on track... just barely, but I’m hanging in there. This high roller wants me to be his security guard, so I need to be in the best shape I can.

... taking a break? It sounds like it's their decision/plan to break their daily routine. 🤔
That’s why I asked you above: Does this express difficulty with the routine or getting out of it by doing something different?
To me, it's not an intended thing. When I was writing my question, I had in mind something along the lines of when you don't have to go to work, you go to bed late and you wake up late, and this becomes like a vicious circle. Выбиваюсь implies a kind of frustration on the part of the speaker.
But on second thought, I must admit that it can mean both.
