Как-то в Америке я расплачивался в магазине за покупку, и продавец, обращаясь ко мне пробурчал что-то совсем невразумительное. Было только понятно, что это вопрос. Я ответил «No, thank you» и направился к выходу. Идя по довольно длинному проходу я ломал голову, пытаясь понять, что же он такое у меня спросил.
И только когда я уже вышел из магазина, до меня вдруг дошло: он сказал: «Anything else for you?»

Просто вчера набрёл в Ютюбе на этого мужика, вот и вспомнилось...
Once in the US, I was paying for my items, and seller muttered something obscure. I understood that it was a question. I answered 'No, thank you' and headed to the exit. When I was going through the quite long corridor I racked my brain trying to understand what he said.
And only when I went out from the store, it hits me that he asked 'Anything else for you?'. (?)
And the seller adressing to me muttered something obscure..
I like his lessons. I've already listened to his 8 or 10 lessons for today. Really helpful.
