I came across this idiomatic Russian expression and don't know exactly the best way to translate it into English. The meaning is obvious, but since it's idiomatic the translation might not be a literal one, I'm not sure.

Очень приятная тенденция в индустрии ухода за домашними животными за последние пять лет замечено в предложениях более коммуникабельного присутствия их в коммунальном проживании с человеком! Стали пользоваться спросом всякие шампуни, саннаполнители, подстилки и т.п

I'm translating customer responses to a survey about trends in the pet industry and their influence on their purchasing habits. I haven't had any problems with the translation, but I admit this response puzzled me. I can't make out what the person is trying to say. It seems to me that the answer is not written well and is not even that clear to Russians. Nonetheless, I was hoping one of you might be able to help me unriddle it. I apologize that it is so long.

Hi, I'm doing some translation about pet care products and I came across this. I was puzzled by лотков. It seems to be a misspelling. I also am not sure the exact translation of вычесывания in this context. Does it refer to brushing out fleas or simply grooming?
- 1.
Good brushes for grooming and a large variety of litter boxes.

The context is concerning harmful ingredients in food. I thought it might be "saturated fat" or "lard." In either case, "melted fat" makes no sense in English.

I came across this Russian idiom. Is it the equivalent of "to fly the coop" in English? Meaning, the person or thing has escaped and gotten away?
