The main objective of these modifications was to introduce additional safety measures for young competitors, including the use of a protective face mask and body protection under the karate-gi.

Ces modifications ont pour principal objectif la mise en œuvre de nouvelles mesures de sécurité pour les jeunes compétiteurs, notamment le port d'un masque de protection, ainsi que d'un plastron sous le karategi.
