Чушь какая-то.

Кто "they"? "Residents" или "meals" - особенно если "residents are provided with meals"?
И при чем здесь кухня? В хостелях кухня обычно существует именно для резидентов.

я задался тем же вопросом к чему относится they. Навряд ли резиденты ограничены для не резидентов, не так ли? И причем здесь кухня, и дальше вы пишите про кухню, не совсем понимаю вашу логику и замечания.

Все правильно Руслан перевёл, что тут непонятного-то может быть? Речь идёт о "meals", которые предоставляются проживающим и ограничены для не проживающих.
