Pink, that's my problem too -- after ten years of studying Russian, mind you! That's why I'm posting these conversational snippets. I can't think of any other way to address this problem. When I talk to people, they don't correct me or tell what to say (assuming that they even give me a chance to speak Russian). Grrrrrrr!

I could talk about Russian grammar until I'm blue in the face, but if you were to drop me in the middle of Moscow, I'd be hard put to order a cup of coffee!

Да, я понимаю, почему ты это делаешь - нужен "живой" язык)
Но это только часть бытовой лексики, есть еще "вызвать такси", "убрать в квартире", "выгулять собаку" и.т.д.
Мне кажется, это бОльшая, проблема)
Если ты не сможешь сказать
- Алё, чувак, ты гонишь?!,
то это не так страшно, как если ты не сможешь сказать
- Вы не видели мою собаку? Она сорвалась с поводка и убежала, помогите мне!
или
- В этом салате точно нет креветок? У меня сильнейшая аллергия и может начаться удушье.
Вот это, проблема, по-моему🤔
Или когда тебе по телефону говорят простые вещи, а ты такой - чегоооо?🙈...

Потому, возможно, нам стоит сначала научиться заказывать кофе😅

Если вы потеряете собаку... скорее всего, вы будете приставать к прохожим с криками "where is my dog?!", не сможете сказать ничего толком и будете руками показыаать ее рост, и т.д.
Ну, как в комедиях такие ситуации обыгрывают обычно)

Если нет навыка ежедневного общения, ни на что другое рассчитывать не стоит.
