According to the announcement on your site, people of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate, and yet, oddly enough, on the registration page you have a "Skill Level" chart. Why is that?

It seemed strange that your site announcement invites participation from all ages and skill levels, but the sign-up includes a selector for "skill level". Why?
