It называют новорожденного в возрасте от 0 до 1 года. Так что 'Ребенок/ малыш/младенец сейчас заплачет.'

в данном случае "it" скорее всего относится к младенцу (что вполне корректно с точки зрения грамматики английского языка, только молодым мамам этого не говорите). Если это действительно так, то при переводе необходимо заменить на "он/она", в зависимости от пола младенца, потому что в русском языке как-то не принято говорить о детях в среднем роде
