The size of the zone depends on the hearing threshold of the species at the frequency of the emitted sound, the received level of the sound at that distance, and the level of ambient noise at corresponding frequencies.

Размер зоны зависит от слухового порога конкретного вида на частоте излучаемого звука, полученного уровня звука на таком расстоянии и уровня шума окружающей среды в соответствующих частотах.
