note (en-en)

Hello everyone) Guys, could you tell me please? Is it correctly to say: "Just time one more thing"? It seems there's no "It's" in the beginning of the sentence!? Am I right?

Alex, что вы хотите сказать по-русски? В таком виде, как сейчас предложение не имеет смысла.

Также вопрос звучит так: Is it correct (not correctly) to say...?

Holy Molyadded a comment hace 9 años

Alex, how exactly did you find it? Did you read it or hear it?

Alex Kunkovadded a comment hace 9 años

Olga, I read it and also heard it) Here it is: Ravi: We’ll hear more next time but that’s almost
everything for today before we listen to Tom, our
English teacher.
Tess: Just time for one more thing.

Oh, okay, in the context it makes total sense. So the answer to your question is: yes, he simply omitted "it's" before "just". It happens a lot in colloquial speech.

Alex Kunkovadded a comment hace 9 años

Ok, I see) As far as I understant it's not correct?

Holy Molyadded a comment hace 9 años

In your post you missed "for" before "one more thing". That's why the sentence didn't make any sense.
Grammatically it should be "It's (just) time...". But in everyday speech people often omit it.

Thanks a million) And you also said me not to use "correctly". Does this word has different mean?

Igor Yurchenkoadded a comment hace 9 años

I'll join this discussion if I may. correct is an adjective and correctly is an adverb. and you just can't use one instead of another. your question in English required an adjective ,though if you translate it into Russian, you'll translate it using an adverb (правильно).
And I think that in your sentence "we have" is omitted rather than "it's". But I don't think it makes much difference.

Alex, from the grammar perspective, you should use an adjective (not an adverb) after "be".
is it good or is it correct
is it well or is it correctly 😠
but: is it done well or is it done correctly
