Don't i look just like a sack, one part white, the over black. in the old days you should see me, race and beat the fastest steamers! Now i've gotten very fond, of this quiet little pond

Хоть сейчас я как мешок, Белый бок и чёрный бок, Ты б в былые видел годы: Как был проворен и строптив, Я любые пароходы Обгонял в один лишь миг! Но теперь живу я тут. Стал мне мил мой тихий пруд.
