The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall protect by law the achievements and the lawful rights and interests of authors in their literary, artistic and other creation.

For the purpose of this Regulation, "performance" includes live artistic performance activities such as music, drama, dance, acrobatics, magic, circus, quyi, puppet, shadow play, recitation, folk art and any other form.

《条例》所称演出的范围包括音乐、戏剧、舞蹈、杂技、魔术、马戏、曲艺、木偶、 皮影、朗诵、民间文艺以及其他形式的现场文艺表演活动。
