This Russian is questionable, I'd say.

1) The conjunction a in that oна ..., a ей ... is okay only if they are different persons and the whole implies some sort of contradiction. Otherwise, this should be И as a conjunction.
2) To me, нет нужды ordinarily means there's no need that's why this should be нет дела.

Now I see what the point is. This is an excerpt from a book that was written in 1803.

In terms of до того (excluding до того, как), it's used that way these days.
«Мне нет никакого дела до того, КАК вы это сделаете, но статья должна быть готова СЕГОДНЯ – и точка!»
– Вчера хоровая капелла приезжала. Концерт был потрясающий. Вы тоже были?
– Да нет, у нас ребёнок заболел, всю ночь не спал накануне – не до того было.
