ENVY, on the other hand, is always ugly. (2) A FEELING is something that is normally felt by the speaker, whereas an EMOTION can be projected onto someone else.

Not really. Feeling is an ощущение. That would be said by someone who is envious despite himself and doesn’t like how it feels. But it doesn’t necessarily refer to the emotion itself.
