Here, FOR NOTHING sounds better at the end of the sentence because that's were we put things we want to emphasize and FOR NOTHING is the unbelievable part of this statement 😉

Uly, thanks a lot! My initial version was "chewed all of us OUT", but then I checked some example sentences and... Emphasizing can change word order - I should've remembered this already!

Actually CHEWED ALL OF US OUT emphasizes that he chewed EVERYBODY out. The neutral version would be CHEWED US ALL OUT.
