I’d always thought of “majority” as too formal a word, until I heard a YouTuber keep saying “I read the majority of your comments” where I would obviously expect “most”. Was he trying to sound formal?

“Avoid” was my first instinct, but I kind of ventured to try out something I saw online.:)
Both MAJORITY and MOST sound good with things, but with people, MOST usually sounds more natural and succinct.
