Beer pretzels - соленое печенье к пиву

I think "crackers for beer" is closer to what you asked

Irina Vladychanskayapublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

do you think so? i mean a snack which we usually love to order in a bar. It might be salted as you mentioned.

Elena Bogomolovapublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

crackers - и печенье, и сухарики , pretzels- соленые крендельки такие

Irina Vladychanskayapublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

We usually don't eat crackers with beer. The bar puts out bowls of what they call "bar nibbles," which are nuts, little crisps and other salty little things.

Irina Vladychanskayapublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

bar nibbles.... it might be chicken wings and nuts and something else..... but how to call a snack made of oven-dried bread which they served for beer at bars in Russia?

Tatiana Gerasimenkopublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

Bread crumbs (?). There're "croutons", "crispbread" and even "sukhariki" in the Internet resources as well. I listed them in the order of frequency of use.

Croutons look like dice and we put them in salad. Crispbread is like crackers, but longer. We don't eat either of these things at bars, but maybe Russians do.

Tatiana Gerasimenkopublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

Русские точно едят сухарики - small cubes of dry bread, often with spicy taste.

Those sound like croutons. We definitely don't need anything like that in bars. I would just call these "bar crunchies."

Tatiana Gerasimenkopublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

👍 ... alongside with sliced salted or/and smiked seefood.

Tatiana Gerasimenkopublicó un comentario 8 anos atrás

Crunches! Про сухарики ещё "ХРУСТИКИ" говорят. И обыгрывают в рекламных роликах: "Ну что, похрустим?"😆

So crunchies it is!
