Alex, we don’t say this about ourselves in that sense. That would sound extremely arrogant. We usually say it to encourage other people about their unlimited potential: (father) Now that you have your degree, three years of practical experience and a glowing recommendation from your professors, the sky’s the limit! (-or- The world’s your oyster! -or- You can write your own ticket!)
