"thank you for being you" - is not quite right. Thanks for being you implies for being yourself or for being who you are. But the question was about 'Спасибо что ты есть' meaning more like "Thanks for being around (with me)."

Why not "thank you for being you"? I think it's exactly what the phrase in question implies. Saying спасибо, что ты есть, you sort of thank God for giving you a special person like your mother, your SO etc. 🤔
