A RETREAT is any place you go to to escape the hustle and bustle of life… a cabin, a campsite, a spa, etc. OFF-THE-GRID means that it isn’t connected to public utilities like electricity, water or gas. It’s very primitive and basic — you have to provide everything yourself. In modern English, this also extends to not being tied to any internet or wireless service.

Here, the word COZY makes me think that it’s a cabin or a house in the middle of the woods that actually belongs to the speaker.
