I just want to explain one thing. There is SLANG, which is the deliberate use of certain words with a specific, usually unorthodox, meaning known to and associated with a specific faction of society; and then there are instances like I'ma, gonna, wanna, which are just written representations of words that are pronounced together, usually both unstressed, and over time have evolved into "phonological words" due to their ease of pronunciation (=not deliberate, therefore not slang). In listening to Russian podcasts, I've noticed that in normal speech, most speakers pronounced то есть almost like тойсть. Someone may even spell it тойсть in a dialog in a book to show how the speaker said it, but it isn't slang - it's just the natural realization of this word combination in rapid speech. So, Jane, you will not only hear I'ma in a rap song, you will hear high-level executives use it mindlessly and effortlessly and nobody will think less of them or question their education.

Another example is a Russian guy with a podcast who continuously says сотвесно. At first, I looked it up in dictionaries, online, etc. and couldn't find this word. Then, as I learned more and more Russian, I realized he was actually saying соответсвенно, just a fast, spoken form of it, adjusted to fit the natural rhythm of his speech in an unstressed position since it's such a long word with so many sounds. I doubt any Russian listeners would even notice this, but would flinch to see it written down as сотвесно. The same occurs with forms like gonna, wanna, I'ma, etc. Although we use them constantly in speech because of their convenience and sound economy, we don't often write them unless we're being deliberately humorous or illustrating the way someone actually speaks. When I first got on this site, a young woman sent me her résumé to correct. Her English was excellent, but the first line in the paper was "I wanna find a position, in which I can..." I couldn't believe my eyes.

Jane, going back to your translation - you have "I'ma = I am" which is basically and intrinsically incorrect. In no situation can I'ma be interpreted as and thus equal (=) "I am." It's misleading and I think you should delete it.
