Wasn't chose - не существующая форма

Думаю, ЗДЕСЬ not randomly не передает реальный смысл русского выражения "не случайно".

Other than positioning in a sentence, there is no difference between At Random and Randomlyand they can be used interchangeably.

i.e. "At random" comes after the verb, while "Randomly" can come either before or after the verb.

E.g.

The winning numbers are randomly selected by a monkey.

The winning numbers are selected randomly by a monkey.

The winning numbers are selected at random by a monkey.

То есть, нейтивы противоречат. Улий их рассудит.))

"randomly" - это когда вы выбираете один из нескольких возможных вариантов. Как при игре в рулетку.
В данном случае подходит выражение The name was chosen by no mere chance.
