"пошли" може быть и буквально, и в переносном смысле (помнишь, когда-то давно, про студентов? - "какие студенты пошли" или "какой студент пошел")

Если буквально, я не вижу проблем с переводом.
Пошли = идут.

Смысл переносный. Один мужик хочет, чтобы свой друг встряхнулся, после того, как он узнал, что женщина, которую он любит, выходит замуж.
