согласование времен - это когда два глагола в одном предложении

Первый глагол — past progressive потому что интересует именно что он ДЕЛАЛ в течение конкретного периода времени. А во втором предложении ночь уже прошла, поэтому используется совершенный вид глагола с помощью simple past.

«Ты хорошо спал?» - вопрос о факте. Никогда не встречала такие предложения в past continuous. Если найдёте, срочно пришлите - хочу посмотреть.

"А со сном (у тебя) как?"

Note: if the question was about the present, the similar pattern could be used:
В: А как (сейчас / у тебя / сейчас у тебя) со сном?
А: Не очень. И ЛОЖУСЬ вовремя (the present instead of the past), а как проснусь в три часа, уже никак не могу заснуть.

When talking about the past, as in your snippet, «уже никак не могу заснуть» (the present) sounds (at least to me) as if the speaker is recollecting the situation.
As for «проснусь» (the future), it’s similar to «would» in English when talking about repeated actions in the past.

Я имела в виду предложения с «хорошо спал»/ «хорошо поел» и т. д, когда речь об одной ночи/об одном приёме пищи, как в примере с last night. Прошу прощения - неточно выразилась.

Да, Ваши оба варианта ближе по смыслу. Моя первая мысль была «меня отпустило», но это бы потребовало дополнительного контекста - что было до и во время развода - типа испытывал стресс. А дальше пошёл в том же духе, но вечером были дела, и некогда было сосредоточиться. Короче, примерив на себя, мои ощущения подводили меня к стрессу, а не к свободе. Ведь даже если самому хотеть развода и свободы, всё равно это стресс. Так вот мысль пошла ))
