I kind of feel at a loss when someone asks my opinion.

If you use KIND OF, you’re complaining or dissatisfied with yourself = I wish they wouldn’t ask me, or I wish I knew more on the subject

If you use SOMEWHAT, you’re being honest about how this makes you feel = I’d love to contribute, but to be honest, I really don’t know what to say

The thing is when they say Я теряюсь, когда меня спрашивают…, you don’t exactly know if they’re dissatisfied with themself or they’re being honest about how this makes them feel, or both.🤔
