She didn't specify that she wanted Russians only, did she? If you added your translation this would've probabbly stopped Снежана from adding hers. Like we say in Russian, "свято место пусто не бывает". Поэтому и я часто спешу его заполнить - на всякий случай и с намерением удалить, если понадобится.

My question is more general. There are nothing but Russians here, so I’m curious why someone would base themselves on answers from other Russians? I couldn’t imagine asking a siteful of Americans a question about Russian.
