Ну, или если человек действительно готов заплатить за информацию, то:
I would pay a lot to be the first to know it.
Elena, BEING AWARE is an involuntary state of mind and not an active effort. In this sentence, for example, you would have to make this active by saying: I'd pay a lot TO BE MADE AWARE OF THIS in advance.
