Thank you, Marissa!
It's so nice to recieve cobgratulations from half the world away. Somehow they get more precious as they travel =)

I looked for a Birthday Limerick so the king of Tuesday's Limericks could have one. This is the one I found. It is December 3rd still here but it is already December 4th over Russia.
Happy Birthday, Igor! Have an awesome one! :-)
☆☆☆☆Feliz cumpleaños, Igor ☆☆☆☆☆☆
que tengas mucho amor
en esa tierra llamada Rusia

Happy birthday, Igor! :)
¡Feliz cumple Igor! in México we sing "las mañanitas" in our birthdays
thank you, Lizan! "las mañanitas"? does it have something to do with "tomorrows"?
thank you, Elena!
there's a good Russian joke, by the way, that in our birthdays we sing "Let the pedestrians run clumsily across the puddles"
that's another way to put it, Elena =)
This is what Lizan is talking about. That is our "Happy Birthday". Although we do not Mariachi singing them (las mañananitas) all the time. Mañanitas =little mornings.
who are the puddles? the people's who have birthdays? The song is nice...although it is hard for me to understand her lyrics. The instruments are "acordeón??? " i have no idea about its name in English and violin? Unfortunately, I have not a musical ear. :-(
Игорь, с Днём Рождения Вас! Всех благ - переводческих и не только!👍
Einen tollen Geburtstag wünsche ich Ihnen, feiern Sie schön!
No, Marissa. The puddles are just puddles. You know - big amounts of water left on the ground after the rain. Very fun to lie in when you're drunk =)
The instrument in question is not quite "acordeón", but something very much alike. It's called гармонь (garmon'), or - as referred to in the song - гармошка (garmoshka)
Vielen dank, Alex!
I thougt puddles were just animals. You are talking about "charcos".
my mistake= poodle / puddles. That Spanish of mine! :-(
I am pretty sure you taught me about "puddles" in another note. I am almost positive. For some reason, it did not stick to my brain. Hopefully after this confusion (poodle/puddles). I will remember the word. Thank you, Igor, as always.
