Во многих приложениях человек САМ придумывает контрольные вопросы (или контрольное слово), так вот чтобы человек не забыл САМ ВОПРОС (а соответственно и ответ на него), он также должен придумать слово-подсказку, кторое напомнит ему о контрольном вопросе (или контрольном слове), на который он потом даст ответ.

Но здесь же нет слова "вопрос", и Ули тоже написал, что это hint to the ANSWER

Елена, само собой разумеется, что речь об ответе. Ресурс сам даёт вопрос, поэтому не нужна к нему подсказка. А ответ пользователь-то сам придумывает, и, соответсвенно рискует забыть, вот почему нужна к нему подсказка.
