Grab - схватить, грубо обнять, в переносном смысле - купить
Grip - вцепиться
Grasp - чаще в смысле "понять"

In the physical sense, GRAB and GRASP mean the same thing - to reach out and take hold of something, usually with a quick movement. Once you have GRABBED or GRASPED something, you continue to hold it tightly as you GRIP it. "As the bicycle was falling, Andy grabbed/grasped the fence next to him and gripped it with all his might to avoid falling into the ditch."
