Das NICE empfiehlt nämlich die Kombination von Aspirin und Dipyridamol als Sekundärprävention der ersten Wahl bei Patienten mit ischämischem Insult unabhängig vom Rezidivrisiko.

Danach waren von über 10 000 Patienten, die zwischen 1989 und 2003 erfasst wurden, 29,7 % der Gruppe der „low risk"-Tumoren zuzuordnen, für die NICE die aktive Überwachung als erste Therapieoption empfiehlt.
