Can the Commission demonstrate that the MAI will not curb, in any way, the ability of the Community to establish and implement policies for the conservation of fish stocks and the management of Community fisheries?

Kann die Kommission nachweisen, daß das MAI in keiner Weise das Recht der Gemeinschaft einschränken wird, Maßnahmen für die Erhaltung der Fischbestände und die Verwaltung der Fischereitätigkeit der Gemeinschaft festzulegen und durchzuführen?

Calls on the OECD to respond specifically and in detail to the above observations concerning the draft MAI;

The Community, by decision of the Council of 22 May 1995, participates in the negotiations on a Multilateral agreement on investment (MAI) which are held in the framework of the Organisation for economic co-operation and development (OECD).

Entsprechend dem Ratsbeschluß vom 22. Mai 1995 nimmt die Gemeinschaft an den im Rahmen der Organisation für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (OECD) abgehaltenen Verhandlungen über ein Multilaterales Investitionsübereinkommen teil.

In the framework of the negotiations on a multilateral agreement on investment (MAI) it is envisaged that the guidelines will be annexed to the MAI.

Im Rahmen der Verhandlungen über ein multilaterales Investitionsubereinkommen ist geplant, diesem als Anhang diese Leitlinien anzufugen.
