I’ll never understand the purpose of this site. Medication is obviously not a cure, but someone looking at this post can come away thinking that it’s OK to say “cure for a headache“ when they’re asking for a pain reliever at the pharmacy. It’s just ludicrous.

Я тоже никогда не пойму, почему люди с упорством, достойным лучшего применения, публикуют свои переводы, особенно после того, как носитель языка дал ЛУЧШИЙ/ЕДИНСТВЕННО ПРАВИЛЬНЫЙ ПЕРЕВОД. И даже после комментария с критикой его не удаляют. Валерий Коротконошко, если не ошибаюсь, в этом виде абсолютный чемпион. 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

I’ve been thinking about this site a lot lately since I stopped using it and I realized that the only way it can work is if everyone only translates their own native language. Any attempts to translate a language other than their own should be relegated to the comments section until checked and approved. This is the only way to ensure that the material that appears on this site, both English and Russian, is worth learning. Otherwise it’s anyone’s guess what’s right and what’s wrong. Furthermore anything that’s marked wrong or unnatural, should instantly be taken down or changed.
