Однако, везде переводят как "воспользоваться моментом", т.ч. неплохо бы увидеть полное предложение.

А не ...TO take a moment?
Точно, а я то думаю почему гугль фразу не находит.
да, пожалуй...
This is used when someone wants you to stop in the middle of their presentation and open a book to a certain page, take out a sample, do something that they ask you to do as part of their presentation.
“I’d like everyone in the audience to take a moment to write down the first number that comes into their head.” (A magician asking the audience to stop and write down a number as part of his next trick before he proceeds)
I'm at a loss. ... уделить минут(к)у внимания... But I can only picture a tv host saying this when they want the audience to join some activity or maybe a lecturer who's aware his audience pays little attention to what they're speaking about. What is the audience supposed to stop doing? What they only do is watching his show. 🤔
