MUST is out of place here. MUST is used for things that constantly reoccur: Why must you always talk to me that way when you drink? Why must we constantly remind you of your curfew? Otherwise, it sounds too Shakespearean.

Я не первый день знаю о том, что сокращения необходимы в повседневной речи, но почему-то именно здесь это оказалось для меня неожиданностью. То ли, потому что конец предложения, то ли ещё почему-то))
