There are two signals that emanate from other units and become XS-1014, XS-1015 within Unit 30. The XS-1014 input is derived from Unit 20 and is a signal of a SGCC trip which causes a feed gas change to Unit 78. The XS-1015 input is derived from Unit 60 and is a signal of a SMR trip in Unit 60. The XS-1014 and XS-1015 are presumed to be digital inputs from units 20 and 60 respectively. These temperature switches will change the set point of the reactor to lower than normal unless the reactor is operating at a lower temperature anyway. The purpose of these is to lower the reactor temperature to a “Safer” operating temperature for lower conversion during these transitions.
