+Elena: Nice! I would never have any idea of how to say this in Russian :)
He fiddles with his straw wrapper, using water to make it worm.
Он вертит в руках обертку от соломки и использует воду, чтобы превратить ее в червяка

Uly, I'd've never had any idea what it means hadn't I found the description :)
hahaha, we used to do that in school when I was little. In Florida, the orange juice man would come to the schools in the afternoon and give the children fresh orange juice with a straw. They actually made the straw wrappers to look like snakes for when they wormed out. :)
by the way: I'd've never had any idea what it meant HAD I NOT found the description. If you're not going to use the word IF, you have to invert the subject and modal.
oh, thanks :)
