I didn't get Forest Gump. Heard a lot of buzz about it but was kind of disappointed after I watched it.. did i miss something?

A lot of the draw of Forrest Gump is cultural trivia and the music. The soundtrack was carefully chosen to take the viewer back to specific key points in our history.

Due to licensing agreements with production houses and tv networks, it doesn't make sense to let Netflix stream episodes as they're released on a network (like ABC or CBS) because that would exploit any incentive for people to watch the content themselves.
