Guys, this sentence left me wondering if when you подавляешь в себе порыв искать что-то новое you can внушить себе что ты ни на что не годишься. To me, it’s exactly the other way around - after you внушишь себе, что ты ни на что не годишься, you start подавлять в себе внутренний порыв искать что-то новое. Correct me if I am wrong, please.
Btw, Uly, is “degrade yourself”about “becoming worse/losing your best qualities” as деградировать is?
