It depends on the context.
The context is Clownery 🤡
I would not use HAS BEEN WORKING because it implies he is still around. But in Russian version it is in the past meaning most likely he does not work here anymore. So "This employee worked for us for three years" would be correct.
Agree. “Has been working” would be “ПРОработал” or “работает” in Russian while “работал” implies he’s not there anymore.
