У меня возник такой же вопрос. Поэтому-то я и написала пример употребления “чему быть... "?

чему быть, того не миновать - is a little different imho. it means - whatever meant to happen WILL happen no matter what you do.

If this is correct, then translation "чему быть, того не миновать " is wrong. The latter is about future, not present.
Similar proverb with similar meaning - Двум смертям не бывать, а одной не миновать.
= не надо бояться

A: If you sign this contract, you’re going to lose your current employee status, lose all your benefits, have to start over in your new position as a new employee and not be elegible for vacation or health insurance for six months.

I agree with Grumbler - Ничего не поделаешь and чему быть, того не миновать aren't always interchangeable. Both can be used in my snippet, whereas only ничего не поделаешь can work in Uly's snippet.

чему быть, того не миновать = когда-нибудь, рано или поздно, это все равно (неибежно) случится/произойдет

In my snippet, the speaker is accepting/dismissing all those future propositions because they can’t be changed - if that’s what’s going to happen, then that’s what’s going to happen - it is what it is.
