Да!!! Я написала «но» и сама не поняла, к чему оно. А вот «зато» - то, что нужно: вот это в ситуации плохо, ЗАТО есть кое-что, что хорошо. 👍👍👍

I would’ve bid $200 if I had it/them. [IT in reference to the amount; THEM in reference to the dollars]

That's what I thought. The seconds part that came to my mind was "if I had it". That's why I wanted to double check with you.
Can you clarify if saying "if I would have had it" is completely incorrect or it acceptable but too wordy?

I think it’s incorrect. It’s a hypercorrection - people say it because they THINK it’s more grammatical/correct, but it’s an unnecessary, and, in my opinion, incorrect use of the conditional.
