Я уверена, что чувство гордости знакомо каждому человеку, но все мы испытываем его в разных случаях. Кто-то гордится своими достижениями, а кто-то успехами друзей и семьи, но есть люди у которых гордость превращается в эгоизм и тщеславие, и это только портит их.

I’m sure that everyone is familiar with the sense of pride, but we all feel/experience it at different times/on different occasions. Some people are proud of their accomplishments, while others are proud when their friends and family succeed.

However, with some people, there’s a thin line between pride and vanity, and once vanity takes hold, it proves their undoing.
