бывшее(-ий, -ая, -ии) в употреблении
только c этим значением через дефис или слитно: second-hand clothes, secondhand clothes. Иначе означает секундную стрелку часов: the movement of the second hand.

Well, thank you.
In my tern I want to say that "бывшего употребления" - так по-русски не говорят. Мой вариант был правильный. Это устоявшееся выражение.
