We use LOOKING TO +inf when we want to avoid using WANT, which can sound brusque in some contexts: I was looking to speak to a manager. (Instead of I WANT to...!) -or- Anyone looking to rent a room for the summer, please contact me. (Instead of Anyone who WANTS to...)
