Увы, Игорь, вынуждена вас разочаровать. У этого слова другое значение. Маргинал - это человек, находящийся на границе социальных классов, культур и т.д. К маргиналам можно отнести неадаптировавшихся в новой стране иммигрантов, вчерашнего чернорабочего, вдруг ставшего офисным клерком. Трактовка aminjan ближе к сути, но не точная. Это слово часто употребляют неправильно. Оно вовсе не ругательное, как в Вашем примере.)

“Look at yourself” is an imperative used to make people look at the depths to which they’ve fallen - a call to experience shame in themselves for something. If a child comes in from the yard covered in mud after their mother just bathed and clothed them, the mother will say “Look at yourself!” in the sense that they should be ashamed of themself. In this post, it’s enough to say “And who are you?” without adding the element of judgement evident in “look at yourself.” It makes people sound like parents talking to children, or at the very least a very self-righteous adult addressing a total degenerate/addict/etc.
